Didar and Paula Dalkic – Owners

Husband and wife, Paula and Didar make an inspirational team. Having devoted themselves to the restoration of the derelict chapel now named Masa, they continue to work tirelessly to ensure their restaurant maintains its position as Derby’s finest dining venue. They have carved a reputation across the Midlands for their passion for food and for their love of the restaurant trade, and are proud to have put Derby firmly onto the UK’s culinary map.

Adam Harvey – Head Chef

Adam joined Masa in 2005 after finishing his apprenticeship at a local reputable restaurant. He left in 2008 to enhance his experience and learn from different chefs. After a few years of working with reputable chefs locally and nationally, he is back with us this time leading the kitchen. Adam is young, passionate and continues to deliver to the standards our customers have enjoyed over the last 8 years.

Nicola Moss – Wedding and Events Co-ordinator

Nicola manages our ever-growing wedding and events business. A BA CSP 1st Class with Honours graduate from University of Derby, Nicola previously worked as the Weddings and Events Co-ordinator at the Izaak Walton Hotel, Derbyshire. She puts our wedding couples and corporate clients at ease with her great attention to detail and organisational skills.

Rudy Perrau –
Maitre 'D

Every good restaurant needs a French man in front of house and ours comes with a big personality. Rudy is a true hospitality professional with many years of front of house experience in high-quality restaurants and hotels, both locally and nationally. Popular with customers, Rudy fast became an integral part of the team in the year that he has been with us.

Anya Kopec – Front of House Supervisor

Anya has worked at masa for the last 4 years. She started as a part time member of the floor team whilst studying for her A levels. She has now progressed to a part time supervisor while studying to be a state registered nurse.
